March 8 Today we were notified by Alabama Independent School Association (AISA) that we have unanimously approved for full accreditation by AISA. We now have received this professional credential by 3 well known acrediting agencies. Praise the Lord!
February 4 We will have a free class for parents to help them setup and utilize the full potential of our Engrade software. Engrade offers every parent of K5 through 12th grade students the ability to see all grades daily, assignments, projects, quizzes and tests that are scheduled. The times for this 30 minute class are 4, 4:30, 5, and 5:30. You do not have to sign up – just show up.
January 25 The senior class sponsored a successful blood drive.
December 4 Flint Hill has applied with AISA for a 3rd acreditation credential and to play 11 man football. It is the school’s intention to stay in ACEAA for all other sports.
October 16 The Home Coming queen was crowned during halftime. Congratulations go to Morgan Crislip. The entire court consisted of: 7th Jasmine Hancock, Savanah Hopkins; 8th Haley Graham, Miranda Sims; 9th Niki Mears, Hannah Suell; 10th Jade Cooper, Brylaine Zimmerman; 11th Brittany Santanna Nicole Davis, Cassidy Shipman; 12th Rebecca Boles, Morgan Crislip, Brooke Littlefield, Hannah Pender. August 28 During chapel this morning the school was presented with a Resolution that was filed with the Alabama Senate on August 12, 2009. Click here to read the Resolution and view pictures of the presentation.
August 21 Today we received a verbal confirmation from SACS (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools) that they have accepted our application and granted us dual accreditation. SACS is the agency that accredits public schools.
Flint Hill Christian School received the non-profit business of the year award from the Chamber of Commerce and Bessemer Rotary Club on July 28th, 2009. This is a wonderful honor that was placed upon the school for it’s outstanding service rendered for the community. We are very grateful for this award and want to thank administration, staff, students and parents for making it possible.

May 22 Our special speaker for our second annual senior graduation was Stan White, a famous ex-quarter back for Auburn University. His message was a great challenge to our seniors to live out their dreams and pursue success with all their heart.
