This past school year brought much concern about “swine flu” H1N1. We are thankful that Flint Hill was not seriously affected.
Please do not send students to school that are ill (fever of 99.5 or higher, chills, throwing up, etc). If medication is required to bring down a fever the child should stay home. They are sick. Parents are expected to pick their child up from school if they have a fever, are vomiting, are complaining of severe headaches or stomach aches, or present other signs of illiness. Students with a communicable disease are inelligable to attend school.

Parents must notify the school office if they become aware of lice in their child’s hair. No student is to attend school with lice or nits on their scalp or in their hair. If lice are discovered, administer anti-lice treatments and follow perscription instructions on the anti-lice kit. Be sure that all lice and nits are completely gone for 24 hours before bringing your child back to school. Returning students must be examined by the administration before being admitted back to class.
