The primary objective of FHCS is to train the student in the knowledge of God (Proverbs 3:5-6) and to give the student an excellent education (Proverbs 1:5). While we are committed to helping our students become scholars, we believe that the foundation to life is a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. When people become solid in their walk with God, everything else tends to fall in line. Our commission is to minister to spiritual needs first and academic, athletic, fine arts, etc. needs second.
God has blessed us with wonderful staff members. Our administrative team consists of Jason Handley, our High School principal, Amanda Kleiser, the principal over the Elementary School and Valerie Wallace, who is the principal over the Kindergarten and Day Care. As the administrator I will focus on the overall ministry of the school and our vision for future growth. By splitting up some of these responsibilities we will be able to focus more time and energy into making each of these departments better.
We are motivated by our passion for the Lord and for Christian education to become the very best that Flint Hill can become as a Christian school and to do our best to keep the cost to a minimum. We want to continue to be a blessing to our community and to all the local churches around the Bessemer area.
